Hmmm.... some very nice work. But please tell me one thing, im thinking you use Photoshop, but how do you get the reflection effect? For example on the Rainbow effect sig. I used to be a graphic Designer many many years ago, but this was on Mac's and the best we had then was Quark Express and Coral Draw.....lol
I can get my head round most of the gubbins but fancy pants stuff such as that is still voodoo to me
Hey Austin, thank you.
Yes these have all be produced using PS only.
To produce the reflection you need to produce the image fully that you wish to reflect, once it's done you then use the selection square and highlight the whole image.
Once you have done this Edit > "Copy Merged"
Then paste it back into your image.
Select the layer the pasted image is on and hit Edit > Transfom > "Flip Vertical" there you have it mirrored.
To make it look more realistic make the mirrored image layer opaque and add a dark or light gradient depending on the background colour at the point of reflection.
Then to finish it off Edit > "Free Transform" and squeeze the height of the image so it looks more like a reflection.
Hope this helps.
Edit : on the rainbow image I did it slightly differently as I reflected her the brushes and text onto a white background which I added gradient to transformed and made opaque. The rainbow background is one image not reflected allowing me to change it to a different background if I want without having to do all the above again.
