Ok guys, after spending days on a solution i finally got TS3 monitor to work. And i found it accidentaly, while searching the FOV settings for Bad Company 2 from the
Nango Gamers (also a XippY hosted team) only to see -to my surprise- that they had a TS3 monitor hot & running from TSviewer!
So, how to setup a TS3 monitor in your XippY site without messing with ports and your TS server provider?
1) Go to
TSviewer.com and click
Server Registration on left column.
2) Fill all the required fields (the side help tips are very explanatory). Only pay attention to the UDP port of your TS3 server, the TSviewer give 9987 as the TS3 udp port, but this is the default udp port (to my knowledge). In any case, this is your "join port" and should be similar to the default one, for example our udp port = join port is 9988.
3) When you're done registering the server, open its page (it's the first page that automatically opens after registration, otherwise find it through server search on top) and go to
Code Generator tab.
4) Here you can play with the code as you want so that it looks best on your XippY template.
We (
www.hel-px.gr) use the Blue Cell Classic template which has black backround, so in the Normal Status field we set all the text (Server, Info Cells, Channels & Users) to be white coloured. The rest changes we did is to remove bold text for users and Text Size = 11 (with default Text Family = Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif).
Press
Preview & Code to see a preview of your settings and get the HTML code. When you set white text you won't see anything because TSViewer has white backround so, you can always have your Xippy control panel + site to preview the code there.
5) Now go to your
XippY Control Panel > Custom Panels and paste the TSvviewer html code in an empty custom panel field. Make sure you put
Is Panel On or Off to
ON.
6) Finally, go to
Banner/Themes and put the Custom Panel to your site.
And you're done!
