Is there a way to have a downloads section without having to create a custom page? Thanks

not at this time - currently the only way is to make a custom page

Such a download page will result in server problems?
I think it will slow things down. (I mean the rest of your site)

If yo make a custom page, you can link to a download that's hosted somewhere else. This doesn't affect any of the XippY servers, It;s being serverd from elsewhere. When we move we're goig to experiment with some download space, but we really don;t want to affect the performance of the sites if the download serving takes up too much bandwidth. There are various ways of throttling this usage but we'll have to look after the server move.

I dont use the custom pages because my theam it image based so i can not change what it says so i use my server and made my own lol

Understand the issue, once we've moved servers.. sounds like a really old 78! maybe you chaps don't remeber them, they were pre DVD:-) anyway we're looking at providing space. I quite like the idea that the panbels don't need to be themed. I didn't think they had to be but they were by default?

if u do add server ftp space do they have to pay more

We've not sorted out the logistics, of whether they'll be a small additional charge for FTP, there may be for a larger storage area, but we may give a small amount in the price. Still to be decided. Still concentrtrating on the final slog for the server move.. Hopefully this W/E
